Enero 2017, un mes de celebridades importantes fallecidas, ¡tal! fue su importancia, que en todo el año 2017, no murieron tantas figuras significativas, como lo fue  en cada uno de los días del mes de enero del año 2017.

El año 2016 se sigue considerando como uno de los años de época reciente, donde más murieron artistas que trascendieron en cada una de sus épocas,  principalmente la música y el cine vieron sus mayores pérdidas.

Recorrió el mundo con su música y de los mas grandes cantantes de su época  no solo en su país Venezuela sino reconocido internacionalmente.

Montado en tarima en unas de sus acostumbradas presentaciones de fin de año, sufrió un ataque al corazón, insigne artistas por mas de 50 años.
